Beginning their musical venture as a surf duo, guitarist, Pete Vercellotti (of Pale Blue Sky), and thereminist, Michele “Cookie” Heile (of Jesus Presley) formed WaveSauce in the Spring of 2007. WaveSauce also features James Emond on bass, Doug Powers on drums. WaveSauce has been performing as a four-piece since March of 2008 — offering a full and unique listening experience.

WaveSauce has found influence in The Seeds, The Greenhorns, The Blue Hawaiians, Laika and the Kosmonauts, Man or Astro-man?, Neil Young, Stan Ridgway, Ventures, Jerry Cole, Dick Dale, the Who, 60s garage bands, Lothar, the Munsters, David Byrne, Tipsy, Clara Rockmore, Leon Theremin, Bob Moog, B52s, Shag, Tony Hughes, Mission 5, Billy Kennedy, RL Burnside, John Waters, the Beatles, Portishead, Hank and Lily, Mazzy Starr, Betty Page, Clint Eastwood, Stephen King, Devo, Herbie Hancock, Kraftwerk, Gary Newman, Roy Orbison, Surf, Pulp Fiction, Film Noir, B-Rated Horror and Scifi, Lounge, Rock, Exotica, Biker and Hot Rod Films.
